- Luuk Dorren (PhD) (e-mail: luuk.dorren@cemagref.fr) started to set-up the expert association ecoRisQ in 2004. He works since 1997 in the field of natural hazards (since 2003 at Cemagref in Grenoble). His expertise covers
geomorphology, analysis of natural hazard and forest interactions, simulation modelling,
programming and geomatics.
- Frédéric Berger (PhD) (e-mail: frederic.berger@cemagref.fr), who works since 1992 on the assessment of the protective role of mountain forests. He works as senior researcher at Cemagref in Grenoble and is specialised in real-size rockfall experiments, tree mechanical behaviour, forest-snow interactions, snow avalanche prevention, revegetation and in protection forest management
- Karl Kleemayr (PhD) is the head of the Department of Natural Hazards and Alpine Timberline at the Austrian Federal Forest Office. He is specialised in forest-snow interactions, risk assessment, hazard zonation, snow avalanche modelling and simulation.
- Lorenzo Bonosi (PhD) is specialised in forest ecology, sylviculture and forests management. He works as a forest planning and management researcher at the CRA-ISAFA in Villazzano (Italy).
